Elsewhere Museum
Elsewhere is an installation art museum that lives in a former thrift store, army surplus store, and boarding house. Every month there are new artists in residence. I created a card that could be handed out as you explore the space because it is not always clear what this place is just by wandering in. No materials can be brought in or taken out from the museum. So, projects are dismantled, built upon, and created from repurposing one another. There is enough stuff and space where that doesn't need to happen, but the place changes and transforms from the people that live there. I took these images and created a manifesto to help visitors understand and explore the space. I organized the text to emulate the shape of a vase to represent the importance objects have in the museum.
